Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with EU Funding to Aid Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 admissions, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the realization of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services will be strengthened, along with listening and gathering centers.

Volunteer associations will have a central role in ’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
