Start of the Convention and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
