Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Receives €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, fostering moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to support the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
