Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Secures €100K Funding for Vulnerable Support
On the last day of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighbourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social support centers, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
