Cornuda Social Initiative Aims to Support Vulnerable Residents Through Community Collaboration
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, with a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different components involved.
