Cornuda Social Initiative: Supporting Vulnerable Residents Through Local Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially disadvantaged.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community funds.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be strengthened.
