Cornuda Social Initiative Supports Vulnerable Groups with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories. Additionally, transportation services, social halls, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
