Cornuda Social Project Launches to Support Vulnerable Citizens
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer associations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
