Cornuda Social Project Launches to Support Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and to improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

l’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
