Cornuda social project supports vulnerable groups with €100k funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the implementation of this initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation by the local community.
