Start of the Convention and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable. Social transport will also be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.
