Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Activities and Planned Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
