Start of the Convention and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims mainly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total allocated funds for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
