Beginning of the agreement and participants

On the day of June 1996 entry, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which lasts two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

Activities and planned objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and meeting places will also be enhanced.

Aims and social inclusion

The project intends to promote social inclusion and to improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

^l Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in the^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
