Cornuda Social Support Initiative Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
