On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to endorse a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.
