Cornuda Social Support Initiative: Local Collaboration for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The planned activities include domiciliary assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
