Cornuda Social Support Project 1996: Local Collaboration for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization initiatives for the weaker categories.
Social transport and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering spaces.
