Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Improve Life for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and several volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
