Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

On the day at the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a two-year duration, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of^’ the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
