Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community Inclusion with EU Funds

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved entities.
