Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Elderly and Disabled Living Conditions

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.
