Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Social House of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, neighborhood association representatives, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the most disadvantaged. Social transport services will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social integration and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for social encounters and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The local government has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
