Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion With €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community encounters and solidarity.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
