Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with Regional Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for implementing the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring the active participation of the local community.
