Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Well-being of Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
