Start of the Convention and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community sources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
