Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. The event involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Goals and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
