Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Care for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project to support the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social integration and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
