Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Quality of Life for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convenio was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer associations.
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
Overall, the convenio represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals.
