Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity among citizens.
Role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
