Cornuda Social Support Project: EU-Funded Initiatives for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.

The project aims to promote inclusive social participation and improve the quality of life of those involved, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Comune di Cornuda has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
