Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institution Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transports and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering spots.
