Cornuda Social Support Project Initiated at 1996 Convention
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total sum allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services will also be enhanced, along with social services, listening centers, and gathering spots.
