Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims at Social Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative‘s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation, as well as listening and gathering centers and institutions, will also be enhanced.
