Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
