Cornuda Social Support Project Launched with Regional & EU Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces took part in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
