Cornuda Social Support Project Launches, Aiming for Community Inclusion
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport services and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
