Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Boost Community Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various stakeholders involved.
Volunteer organizations will have a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
