On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary associations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total sum allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
