Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
