Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Lives of Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

L’ municipal administration has expressed its commitment to support initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.
