Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will last two years, is particularly aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
