Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Promote Social Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention took place at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
