Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institution Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
