On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total allocated amount for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
