Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Regional Funding

On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiativa amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transports will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
