On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
