Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K EU Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held in the lounge of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social assistance, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.

the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
