On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
